After more than a decade of unwavering commitment to “greening” Vietnam’s domestic textile industry, Bao Lan Textile, in strategic partnership with Ecofa Vietnam, has successfully developed Ananas – the first original-in-Vietnam pineapple fiber, yarn, and fabric to be produced on a commercial scale globally.
The first achievements of the Ananas project have been recognized by Men’s Folio Vietnam, which hailed Bao Lan Textile as “a pioneer laying the groundwork for sustainable fashion in Vietnam, with a bold vision to make eco-friendly materials the future of the textile industry.”
At the prestigious MALE ICON AWARDS 2024, Founding Director Dave Quách proudly accepted the “Businessman of the Year | The Innovative Leader – Sustainable Business of the Year” award, under the Business Awards category, on behalf of the entire Bao Lan team.
The Male Icon Awards, established to honor timeless values and notable contributions of modern changemakers, aims to build a legacy for future generations. According to Men’s Folio Vietnam, “2024 has proven to be a breakthrough year for modern gentlemen – a year marked by bold thinking, adaptability, trendsetting leadership, and a fearless approach to challenges and opportunities.”
